If you are considering using AI as a customer support feature because, "it would be cool if your customers could ask questions," please think back to the last time you had to interact with a Comcast or Verizon phone tree.
Hell, think back to the last time you had to talk to an actual, real-life human customer support rep from a large company. It probably sucked as well.
Why do these experiences suck?
Because this is how much those large companies value you as a customer. This is how much they are willing to spend to ensure that you have a good experience in dealing with them. In some cases (I'm looking at you online services), the answer is actually zero. If you have a problem, they'd rather you just go away than help you.
When you automate your customer service, you are telling customers that they are not important. For the love of god, founders, please don't say this to your customers.
