Product/Market Fit Is Eight Things, Not Two

When we think of "product/market fit", we fool ourselves into thinking we just need to get just two things right, when in reality, it's like eight different things.

A client said that to me yesterday and I was like, "shut up with that 'the learner is now the master' crap." I'm the coach, Anakin!

But he was right.

When I write about insight, this is the galaxy brain stuff I'm talking about. I've started companies for three decades (because I'm foolish) and I've coached and advised more than a hundred companies (because I'm old), and a client can STILL knock me back on my heels (because, I'm... a Weeble Wobble?) and explain my own business to me.

When you are reaching out for early sales and fundraising without a known brand, you have to build trust immediately, and the best way to do that is to blow them away with your understanding of how their universe works.

Normally I'd say who had that tremendous insight, but I don't want you to start looking to him for coaching. That's what I you're supposed to come to me for :)

Also, finish the sentence: "Weebles wobble but they don't..."
